Die erste gehäkelte Paradiesblume - first crocheted paradise flower

This is the first paradise flower. On one hand it seems to be a simple and elegant design but appears on the other hand a bit extravagant. The flower is crocheted with five trebles, the last sc row seems to frame the pentals and in the combination with the three spikes it’s quite charming.

Note: Crochet rings with a diameter of 26 mm (1,02 inch) are the basis for the paradise flowers. The prescribed number of sc in one of those rings can be replaced with the same number of dc in a magic ring.

My paradise flowers aren’t made for any cause – just for fun. Maybe I’ll add them on a blanket or a present one day.

you’ll find the english translation (if available) directly after the german texts in this blog.
