Fünfeck Motiv mit einfacher doppellagiger Blüte - Pentagon motif with simple double-layered flower

In the last article I showed you my tiny double-layered flower. As promised I will present you today a suitable frame: the pentagon motif with double-layered flower.

But why a pentagon? In fact, pentagonal motifs are impractical for crochet blankets or pillows. Because those would only be doable if the pentagon motifs are placed together at the edges and joined with additional crochet pieces. So I use the pentagon motif with double-layered flower for other purposes like patches for garments, bookmarks or pincushions.

The two pincushions on the photo are crocheted with varying yarn and with different crochet hooks. You can tell the difference quite well, because the left is more suited as sofa pillow in a dollhouse, whereas the right one is as big as my palm.

You find the pattern of the pentagon motif with double-layered flower with crochet chart in this free PDF file: Pentagon motif with double-layered flower.
