Großes Häkeldeckchen - Big crochet doily

It was a little quiet on mycrochetprojects in the last month. This does not mean that I wouldn’t crochet. On the contrary, in the last few weeks I’ve been working on many things at the same time.

The first and most difficult project is a doily. I chose a rather complicated pattern to improve my crochet – skills. Chains with many picots and double treble crochets let me step out of my comfort zone and are really fun.

Interesting wrap

Another project I started is interesting stole whose crochet rows are woven into each other. I have seen the pattern a long time ago somewhere in the internet and I now have actually the right yarn for it. I add a row to the wrap daily and I’m curious how it looks when it’s done.

Finished is this shawl made of crochet squares. It is a primarily gray stole with yellow patches in it. I like this color combination pretty much. The instructions for the squares is from the book Connect the shapes by Edie Eckman. The crochet chart is easy to understand and it’s easy to remember too, so I could crochet some parts for this shawl on the go.

The latest and last project that I want to show you today is a small foretaste of the Advent here at mycrochetprojects. Each Advent Sunday I’ll post a quote on a crochet picture. The quotes are in English as well as German and I hope you will like my selection of images and sayings.
