Small crocheted strawberries on a hair tie - Kleine gehäkelte Erdbeeren auf Haargummis

Here in the southwest of Germany, the spring has begun this week. The real strawberries from our own garden aren’t ready yet, though I crocheted little strawberries that arouse a little anticipation for this gaudy red and sweet fruits.

I have tried several, existing strawberry applique instructions, but they were all too big for my purposes. It should be really tiny strawberries, because I want to use them for hair clips, hair bands and decoration on jam jars or party invitations.

You find the pattern of the small strawberry as written instructions and crochet chart in this free PDF:Small crochet strawberry
