Crochet Lily with seven petals – a free pattern
I am aware that there is in reality no lily with seven petals. However, this crocheted lily exists. In the initial phase of this pattern I’ve experimented with different sizes and number of petals. In this variant, slightly asymmetrical, I like it most of all.
This flower species is crocheted with thin cotton yarn and its center is a plain wooden button. I hope you like the crocheted lily with seven petals too.
The crocheted lily can be used for decoration. You can put it together with branches as a small flower arrangement, they look good in a vase or sprinkled on a table cloth. The crochet lily works as an application on T-shirts, blouses or dresses. With different buttons you can change it easily, to fit on every fabric.
I especially like the tips of the petals. They consist of a small Picot and do not conform perfectly to the curve of the lily. This reminds me of the reality in which not every petal is perfect.
